Optional items:

map colors, scissors, glue (we will be doing projects and students will needs these at times)

Assignments:

All assignments are due on the date assigned and then kept in a notebook.  If an assignment is turned in late 30 points will be taken off.  The notebook will be graded at the end of the six weeks. Also, students may correct failing daily grades for up to a 70. Tests below a 70 may be retaken at a time scheduled by the teacher and the student.  This excludes six weeks tests.

Make-up Work:

If there is an absence, the makeup work is the student’s responsibility. For a timeline of when work is due, see the student handbook.

Grading:

Please see the handbook for the school's grading policy.

Corrections:

Corrections must be done on a separate sheet of paper. Please put the title of the paper you are correcting on the top line. Then completely write the question and the correct answer.  When correcting writing assignments, the entire paper must be rewritten. Only daily assignments with failing grades may be corrected. Remember all corrected failing assignments will receive a 70.

Failing tests may be retaken.  The highest grade that a person can receive is a 90.
